SCHOOL PICTURE DAY
Today is the day! This is my year!
I’ll take a great photo. I’ve nothing to fear.
I jump in the shower and scrub off the dirt,
Then dig through my closet for just the right shirt.
I slick down my cowlick with hairbrush and gel.
This picture is going to turn out so well!
In line for the camera, I practice my smile.
I know that the trouble will all be worthwhile.
But when I sit down and it’s time to say, “Cheeeeeese!”
At that exact moment, I let out a sneeze!
